Great Bridge Lacrosse Club

     The Great Bridge Lacrosse Club was established in 2007 with players from Great Bridge H.S. and Hickory H.S. and the school district that would become Grassfield.   Hickory and Grassfield now have teams indicating the growth of the sport in our area.   We are proud to have been the first established  high school lacrosse team in Chesapeake. 

Lacrosse has been billed the "fastest growing sport on two feet."  We encourage all Great Bridge High School boys interested in learning and competing in the sport of lacrosse  to join us.  We compete in the HRLAX league comprising of teams from Virginia Beach, the Peninsula and Chesapeake.

Shown is Rob Howard (a Great Bridge HS team member).  Rob has been competing with the Chesapeake Select team this summer.

We have had a few of our players participating on the Chesapeake Select Team at various tournaments this summer, two more of our players (Tyler Wrigtson and Justin Harrell) will be participating in a CNU travel team.  Both of these teams will be participating in the Battle of Bull Run tournament on August 1.  Good luck to all of you.
